I recently became addicted to the British crime drama series, Lewis, and it occurred to me that the real star of the series, Detective Sergeant Hathaway, is an obvious introvert. The series is set in Oxford, and full of supercilious, intellectual academics. While DI Lewis has little time for intellectuals, Hathaway was educated at Cambridge and studied for the priesthood prior to becoming a detective. But he's described as a "very private person" who keeps his feelings to himself. I recently saw an interview with the show's two stars and the actor who plays Hathaway was just like his character - he looked everywhere but at the interviewer or the camera.
There's Hathaway on the left.

If the truth hurts, you ain't livin' right.
