Selling on Ebay
Anyone done any selling on Ebay? Any pitfalls? How do they make sure you get your money? The gf has a room full of WW2 memorabilia she wants to get rid of.

Selling on Ebay
You get the money before you send the item. Almost invariably, this is through PayPal. Both eBay and PayPal have a record of pro-consumer bias in which disputes are usually solved in favour of the buyer. The most common way for sellers to get scammed on eBay is when the buyer claims they didn't receive the item. Unless you can prove you did send it (either through tracking, proof of postage, or equivalent) the buyer will likely be granted a refund.

Selling on Ebay
I suppose for valuable items it would be safer to use a courier service.
