How many of you use the same name on all forums? I'm curious as I use a different name, yet when I check out other forums, I see the same
people on all of them with the same name. maybe I'm unusual? :?:

Started to use the same alias in recent times. Not sure if it's a good idea, but like S&W said, does make log-in simpler.

I've used the same two usernames for the last seven-ish years. It makes it easier to remember.

I have a handful I use, same as passwords. Always takes me few tries to login till I figure out which one I used.

:D I have this problem. These days I just tell Firefox to remember the passwords so I don't bother trying to remember which ones I used where. I wouldn't do it on a laptop mind, and it causes problems when I have to login somewhere other than home, but for the most-part it's easier.

Why wouldn't you do it on a laptop? I do.

You know what's safer? Keeping a password protected flash drive with a Word file containing your login info for less sensitive sites (not like online banking, but things like forums and youtube) and stashing it

That's a good idea. :)
