A space to rant in.

I remember it was quite popular in the old forum

I have nothing to rant about for once so someone else will have to start

Liar. ;)

I want to rant but I am not sure what about.

College sucks horribly; that's the only thing I want to angry-rant about. But I am kind of awesome at making it look like I did work when I didn't.

I'm sick of my science "teacher." He schedules a test on a unit, one he openly admits he barely taught us, the day after break ends, and his miserable justification is that he gave us the break to prepare for it without any homework. I'm hoping he won't be returning tomorrow because he told the class he might take the rest of the year off due to personal reasons.

Fine, you can laugh at me, if that makes you feel more powerful/important. I just think you're really stupid if you can only laugh at others mistakes.

Dearest Windows Laptop,
It is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain a civilised relationship with you and your servers. Each day, you claim to lose connections; you freeze in shock at the audacity of my search requests, and you insist on opening random pages that I have not requested. Why you think I wish to peruse the latest drama of some stupid celebrity, I really don't know. Furthermore, I find it quite irritating when you load up several versions of the same page, when i only require one. I admit that jabbing the touchpad several times in temper possibly does not help, but seriously....14 tabs of Google? Then comes the arduous task of closing them down one by one, resulting in complete closure of the browser, which means i have to start all over again. You saw what happened the other day when you deleted my form...well, I can assure you that I will not hesitate to use that same force again. Possibly with a blunt instrument. And fire, oh yes.
Please be warned and behave yourself.
Thanks,
Molly.

computers can be frustrating. I have a lot of experience with them, and even so I swear they have built-in patience testers

best advice I can give is keep things simple. don't install things you don't need. if the computer gets to the point its super slow and everything is messed up, I would backup your important files and reinstall the OS

So I go to pay the water bill online and they add a $6 (ok $5.95 to make it sound better) "convenience" fee. I'm like uh... it's not That convenient. why do I have to pay to pay you again? you are the only ones I've seen try to do that so don't talk smart with me lol. bastards

Hip pain keeps getting worse; I just made a glass of good ol' PURPLE DRANK to deal with it, because it's super bad tonight and purple drank is the only way to take codeine syrup without having to deal with the "cheap cherry cough syrup" taste

The only upside to Windows 8 is that, despite having a new major or disruptive problem every 1-3 weeks, half of those problems magically disappear on their own without me having to call support a second time with the information I had to dig up. The rest of the time, I get to spend my morning researching the problem instead of studying what I'm supposed to be studying or doing my own work.

I'm really just floored by how problematic it is. I treated my old notebook with Windows 7 like trash because it was a Lenovo, anyway, and had fewer problems, all of them obvious hardware issues or results of me being careless.

I know how you feel; my Microsoft Surface has what is basically prototype Windows 8, and it takes a lot of getting used to, and even after you gain proficiency with it, it's still a bit of a hassle to do anything. Even with all the problems, the Surface is *still* easier to use and is generally more useful than an iPad

Every. Single. Time I have to go to the bathroom for anything, my asshole brother is in there. ALWAYS. I almost didn't get to take a shower last night because the city was to cut off the water at midnight, and he was in there for like 2 hours, THEN he ran in there to take his shower (just to be a raging asshole) while I was walking down the hall to get in there
