Introvert turn-ons

Postby swift502 » Mon Nov 16, 2015 11:31 pm

There's a couple of special things that attract me to girls. Maybe they're just my personal preferences, but I assign them primarily to my introverted personality.
So by "turn-on" I mean one's quality or a trait that might increase your interest in someone you may even be already attracted to. I hope the term is not too confusing, but I couldn't come up with anything better. "Opposite sex attraction enhancers" doesn't sound too good, nor too accurate.

1. Reading

Firstly a sign of some degree of introversion. But also the ability to cope with solitude, knowing how to spend time in a meaningful way and a certain kind of open-mindedness, all of which are character traits that don't necessarily come with introversion.

2. Pianos

I love piano music, and therefore really appreciate people who can play piano. To me a sign of independence, ability to devote yourself to things and not give up easily, and possibly introversion, though I guess that's not guaranteed.
And like all the musical intruments, it's a beautiful way to express oneself.

Do you have any interesting introvert turn-ons? :)

Annie, LOL!

I love someone who loves to read and who can tell me stories. I love listening to people's life stories. I love someone with whom I can sit next to and not say a word. Where he can be doing his own thing while I do my own thing and I don't have to entertain him. He can be playing video games and I can be reading.

I love someone who loves to eat because I love food.

Oh and someone who doesn't mind when I talk about zombies, aliens, and sasquatch! LOL I like talking about weird topics.

Uh, I, didn't mean it like that. The term "turn-on" may just be a little over the top.

Cool. Though I'd say the same will happen if you walk up to a stranger on a street and you'll both do your own thing. :)

Very true, but we're talking about someone I actually want to spend time with.... and I try to avoid even being alone in an elevator with strangers because I'm always worried they'll want to chit chat. LOL

Doesn't stop me getting in the elevator with people. I just tend to look at my reflection in the door until the doors open again on my floor. I've often got into a lift and took it to the top floor and rode it down to the bottom for a bit of fun... My dissapointment whenever it stops halfway :D

As for what 'turns me on,' I'm not too sure. What Annie said pretty much covers it :P

I think most introvert turn ons are what we lack most...Sociable people that talk to us, someone who pays complements...We are not used to it cause we come off as to good for people because we are quite and reserved

Yeah, I agree. Compliments, and general understanding or any form of empathy. When someone tries to listen to you knowing that it might be quite difficult to express yourself.

Though I think this is a relevant factor for everyone (including extroverts), when choosing friends and forming relationships. Everyone wants to be heard out.

Turn ONS?.hmm, when a girl or woman has strong interests of her own..whatever it is it doesn't matter because when I first start talking to a girl and she seems to not be interested in much I am like ugh..it's a big turn off ..

I guess another big plus or turn on lol is when the woman asks you questions back and seems genuinely interested in what u have to say..I hate having to be the one asking all of the questions and guiding the conversation

I like women who are good travel companions. I've done a lot of travelling alone, and I enjoy being able to go where/when I want, but it can be lonely.
Fortunately, my gf likes travelling.

I just like someone who can live in the moment, speak to them about what's on their mind, and discover what topics occur based on our own fantasies and imaginations. If I meet a woman like that, I'm already thinking about marriage haha
